Podcast #35 Mountains move when you get clear

Hi everyone and welcome to this week’s Practically Intuitive podcast. I’m Lisa from PracticallyIntuitive.com and am glad you’re here with me.

Today’s podcast is all about what can happen when you set an intention, take action and it’s all aligned with your path and purpose.

Intention is key, as I always tell you. So is action. Put them both together doing something aligned with your path and BOOM! The Universe responds. And often in a way that we cannot plan or even foresee. But you know it when you see it.

Real life story number 4,397:

As I’ve mentioned before, the past thirty years of my working life has been in the financial services field. While it was never, ever my preferred profession, it paid the bills and I was good at it. But my real heart and soul was doing the work I do with Practically Intuitive. I longed to do it full time and kept walking the path to doing that by building my site and my practice bit by bit on a part time basis over the past three years.

The more I stepped into that work and felt the joy of working with others, the more the day job became unbearable. I resented being there and resented using my energies to just pick up a paycheck. In short, I was not a happy camper and it showed.

In January, I made the decision that this would be the year I step into this work full-time. I hung out in that vibration briefly last year but couldn’t go when the door opened. I was hell-bent and determined NOT to have that happen again. When the door opened again, I was going to go.

So there’s the intention: When the door opens again, I will go.

Add to it some linear action:

I engaged a business coach named Andrea Hess. Some of you may be familiar with her work – I’ve been an ardent fan of hers for many years and credit much of my recent growth to her wisdom and guidance.

Andrea is a catalyst. She gets things stirred up and she moves big energy. Making an agreement to work one-on-one with her is like saying to the Universe: Bring it, baby! Shake my ass up!

So yeah.

Shake my ass up, it did.

Thursday, I got news that I would be laid off from the day job at the end of the month because of two offices combining and someone else with more seniority gets the position I fill.

Never in a hundred years did I expect that. Never. But when you put things into motion with intention and action, you don’t get to dictate how it comes about. You don’t.

And here’s the wonderful thing (of many wonderful things about this scenario): I was given a very, very generous severance package that will carry me for two-three months.

My boss, my husband and those friends who knew I was working toward this all said “This is that sign, right?”

Yeah, it is.

And I am so much more prepared now to do this work than I was this time last year.

I know it all seems like baby steps and it is, actually. One step, then one step, then one step. But look at where those steps lead when you get clear about what you want. Look at how the Universe moves mountains to help make it work and how supported you can be taking that step.

I share all this with you so you can truly see that working with your higher self, Guides and the Universe at large in a co-creative way brings results.

Are you getting the same kind of results? If you’re not, let’s fine tune what is going on for you. Email me for an appointment and we’ll get you rocking and rolling too.

Thanks, as always, for listening in. This is Lisa from PracticallyIntuitive.com – bye for now!
